Unmarried Action Army

Sheriff Bart (Louis Gossett Jr.) carries a Remington 1875 visually mocked up to resemble an older and cheaper Remington 1858 New Army.

At the end, Howard Johnson claims he bought the gun but is trick by Bart into trading it for his piece of junk "pig gun". Jim carries two blued 5 1/2" Artillery Unmarried Action Armies as well. The bad guy in the episode besides carries a 7 1/2" Cavalry version.
